My 2018 242 limited eserie started to have a discrepancy on engine hours.
Around 80 to 85 hours there was 3 hours different between engines, so first I thought that was the dealership after a maintenance or something they did to the boat...also me not using one engine after having some good beer on the lake. So I decided to take some pictures of the engine hour to show the dealer about this problem till I found that one engine started to read backwards on hours.
So anyone is having this issue? Here is some pictures from before and after.

oh wow. I have different numbers on my engines as well. About 10 hours off. But I haven't seen if it is running backwards... that's... bad!

Yes is bad...just take a picture on every trip you make just to be sure.

This is a known issue in the 242 model boats. There is a bug in the software causing the gap in engine hours. This does not affect the engine hours stored in the ECUs of the boat.
Here is another thread talking about this issue:
Engine hours out of sync

Thanks for the info.
Dealer changed the connext screen and also found the transducer and radio/usb/bluetooth locked up looks like is the rear controller that is bad now.

Crazy. I’ve seen this on analog hour meters (the odometer style) but that’s usually because they’re wired backwards.
