It's nothing major, but I thought that I would share another leak discovery. There is a drain installed in a trough that runs along the back edge of the engine hatch. It's not sealed and will allow water to drip into the engine bay.

Good catch @MrMoose, it would seem Yamaha has missed a few things on the new hull. Ill be spending some time with mine soon, hope to remedy these things before it hits the water.

another place is the under the clean out hatch. if it has been removed at all before, the seal was compromised, leaking water into the bilge. Once I install the chart plotter, I plan on sealing it also.

It's like a late night infomercial.
"BUT WAIT!!! THERE'S MORE!"

Although I hate working with the stuff, because the fitting is not fastened to the shell, knowing that the drain hose would be stressing the interface between the boat and the fitting, I decided to use 3m 5200 for this repair.
I hope that the fitting doesn't break, cuz I'll have to use a jackhammer to remove it.

Wow that's just another bad quality control from Yamaha!!! I'm new to the jetboat world and I can't believe how many different leaks
