My starboard engine will start and idle and even run for about a minute or so and then will shut off. After a few times then it will not start. The port engine runs fine. I checked the flush outs and they are clear and locked in place. The boat has about 45 hours. any suggestions? Thank you!

When it’s dies does it sputter and choke or does it just cut out like someone pulled the key.

I diagnosed the issue yesterday. when i stand on the top swim platform the engine shuts of. I must have an issue with the kill switch under the flush out hatch. The good news is i am able to still use the boat. has anyone ever had this issue?

Thanks

Switch needs adjustment to make constant contact, just fold up a napkin or something similar and place it on top of switch to close up the gap b4 closing the hatch.

I’m trying to think through this. The engine is running fine and then he steps on the hatch and it stops running. It doesn’t seem like he needs to close the gap. I wonder if they are just loose and need to be tightened up.(?) If so, that can be done via the pull out tray. They’re secured there with a nut I believe.

i will take a look underneath the pull out tray. thank you!
