I'm going to look at a 2019 AR190 tomorrow. It came up for sale today and there are multiple offers. I seem to be the first in line. The guy says everything runs fine and there are no issues. 61 hours on the boat. He's taking me for a lake test but I don't think I'll be able to find a mechanic to come out and give the boat a once-over before I decide if it's right. I don't have access to the tools or the knowledge to do a compression test. But I've grown up on boats, so I know what I'm looking at. If there was a problem with the engine or a cylinder - Would the connext system tell me there was an issue?

Thanks!

Connext would tell you some things but not a major mechanical one. It only has 4 cylinders so if somethings wrong with 1 it will run like crap.
I wouldn’t be very worried on a 61 hr boat if it seems to start and run well.
