Hey guys, I'm new here and thought you may find this slightly entertaining. I have a 1990 Jetstar that was headed to the junk yard so we decided to take it over a home made ski jump to attempt to kill it. We couldn't do it. It had a 60 horse Suzuki in it and would only do 28 mph. Doesn't look that impressive on video but it took guts to do it not knowing what was going to happen...you're looking at a wall of wood as you approach it. Let me know what you think...we had fun.

I now have the rare 90 horse Mercruiser version of this boat that will do ~40 mph. Won't be taking it over the ramp anytime soon.

We also took that boat on a one way 80 mile adventure down a river that got so shallow in places that we had to drag it over rocks and a little white water.

Welcome to the site. Sweet video, soundtrack was quite befitting. With an intro like that we expect more of the same :winkingthumbsup"

Looks like a blast going down river with that !

Wow, looks like so much fun!

Now that @Sea-Donkey is one HELL of a way to spend the day!!

Looked like a blast!! Keep making the great videos.

Awesome video @Sea-Donkey !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made me smile. Perfect music, really well done. Thanks for sharing it.

The soundtrack makes that the Perfect Video! Awesome!!

I agree--the music was perfect.

What did the bottom of the boat look like after that adventure?

the first time I ever considered any regret on getting a 24 footer!
nice work brother-

How was the landing on those jumps?

Not too bad. You can see one landing that the boat turned sideways to the right while in the air. Our concern was it doing a nasty nose dive...hence the helmet and pad in front of our knees.

What did the bottom of the boat look like after that adventure?

Actually didn't hurt it at all...and it has an aluminum intake scoop that protrudes down. We were fully expecting to bust the hull.

I love it. You know how to have a good time.

How was your spine after those jumps? Whenever I see ski jumps from now on, I'm going to have to stop myself from wondering, "I wonder if I hit it if..."
