Today my bilge pump has been running about every 5 mins for like 30 seconds so it’s a decent amount of water. I’ve looked and I think the water is coming in from the bottom of the bilge pump. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a gasket or seal that can go bad and let water leak in underneath the pump?

Also its doing this while I’m just anchored with the engine off

I had a similar problem on my new SX210. It wasn’t a leak from underneath the pump, but the hose from the bilge to out of the boat wasn’t connected correctly. Not certain about the 190 design but check inside the starboard aft storage bin. Is there water in there? Is water physically coming out of the boat while the bilge is running?

Make sure the tube coming from the bilge is connected to the outside of the boat, otherwise the bilge will just continue to pump the same water around without any leaving the boat. This whole compartment was full when we realized!!

Yes, there is nothing underneath the bilge pump--except the lower bilge (the fiberglass to which the pump is attached is not the fiberglass at the bottom of the boat--there is a gap between the 2 pieces of fiberglass). Your problem is that you have a leak somewhere. I agree it may be the exit hose (as @Rogandanny properly suggests), but it may also be from the rub rail or around the bilge plug or any other number of places. Time to start hunting for your leak. Second step (after checking the exit hose) would be to pull off the tray by the cleanout plugs and look down there with a flashlight to see if you can see something leaking.

Next step to definitively find a leak is to take the boat out of the water, put it on the trailer, crank the bow up high, then fill the bilge with a hose. Then look below the boat and see from where it is leaking.
