When I installed the LED lights I discovered this piece of galvanized metal inside the trailer frame. It appears to be galvanized so I assume it was in there before the galvanization process and has not broken off of anything.

The three pictures were taken with the metal piece in different positions. It is too large to remove without cutting.

Has anyone found anything similar?

Any idea what it might be?

Ah, that's just the piece they put in there to wear down the insulation in random places and cause weird grounding/electrical gremlins at some future, unpredictable point in time.

:p

looks more like a blob of the zinc galvanizing. Could it be a piece of metal from a cutout that got pushed inside? It look so randomly shaped.
