Where is the factory transducer on an AR195? And where does the water temperature come from? This weekend it seemed like the water depth wasn't updating as quickly as it used too. I thought maybe there was something on the bottom of the boat messing with it so I pulled it out that evening and started looking to no avail. I am assuming that it's inside the hull? Then that got me wondering where the water temperature came from.

If it’s like the 24k boat it should be back/starboard side. It’s a black circle that sits flush with the bottom of the boat.
It does both depth and temperature.

Did you”depth comm” error?

No, I didn't get any errors just noticed that it was updating as fast as it used to. It would only update at idle speeds or every 15 to 20 seconds to speed.

Mine wasn’t registering my the water temp and since last year I have been wondering how accurate the depth was based on some funky numbers in areas I knew the depth. Any ideas on fixes for this?

Yamaha points their transducers facing forward instead of at the keel so it could be some of the difference you're seeing
