When going to the local gas station on my way to the marina, do I need to monitor pumping gas manually on the handle or can I leave it at full speed pumping gas as we do with cars and does it stop automatically? On my motorcycles I pump it manually pressing and releasing to make sure I don’t spill gas. I have a 2021 195s. The first gas fill I did it manually but I could only get it to about 80% full And sounded like getting full but was unsure so I stop attempting to go any more.

I treat it just like my truck, squeeze the handle, lock it down, go inside And get my ice, beer, snacks. And usually when I come back out it’s already stopped, and then I give it a couple more squeezes to top it off. Never once have I ever spilled gas.
Now having said that I know that some gas pumps can malfunction and won’t cut off and you can come outside to gas pouring outside of your boat!

That all depends on the pump itself and not so much what youre pumping into. If it has the locking feature on the pump....let it roll!

Let it rip, no overflow on these boats.
