Foam blasted

??????
"You had my interest... now you have my attention" Please give me more info on "Foam blasting". I like that

My friend brought this bottle with soap in it. We attached it to the power washer. Thick layer of soapy foam all over the boat. Grabbed some hand mitts and wiped the boat down and rinsed. The thing was pretty awesome. I think bikini car washes should have them! Lol

I use an MTM foam cannon on my boat and truck and they are great! Below is an old video of mine using the foam cannon and some Chemical Guys Honeydew foam soap. I didn't have the mixture dialed in the video like I have it now so the foam isn't as thick in the video but you get the idea.

This is the one I have. It's pretty slick. I don't really know if its that much better than any other method, but I like it.

I got one cheap on Amazon (thinking it hooked up to the hose). Broke out the power washer the other day and finally tried mine. Very easy to use and pretty good results. Certainly as good as anything you get in the gas station car wash. Still not as clean as actual wiping, but a very fast way to get the soap on there!

We still wiped it after blasting it...I think it just makes washing things more fun!

Yep, still wipe after the foam goes on. Just with a rinse bucket, find it makes the process go much quicker.

Also, foam cannons are fun. :)

For my black truck I use it to get the grime off before I do a two bucket wash. For the boat I use it mainly just to spread the soap out on a large surface. Foam cannons do not replace elbow grease. You still gotta scrub. The real point of a foam cannon is to loosen the grittiest dirt off your car, especially dark colors, prior to washing. That way you don't creat micro swirls and other paint blemishes. I did car detail for about a decade long before the foam cannons came out and man they would have made life easier on some colors for maintenance washes.

Does anyone know, if you have a pressure washer with a soap reservoir, is the foam gun necessary? Would it work with the standard pressure washer gun?

Nah it won't make nearly the amount of foam. My pressure washer has a tank and a "foaming" nozzle and it doesn't even compare to the MTM foam cannon.
