Fire at resorts world

Hopefully it’s not to bad. I think Bimini only has 1 fire truck and they just got it not to long ago.

Hmmm...

I was suspicious when I first saw link last night as well.

It’s odd to me. First it’s reported resorts world will close. Then no only for to two weeks and now a report of a fire during shut down. Then story removed. With all that is also going on with Bimini Sands. Things that make you go mmmmmmmm

Thread on THT said the trash dump "accidentally" caught fire in the off season.....The images above tell a different story, except that doesn't even look like the hilton to me???

There was a discussion (disagreement) on the Bimini FB page about this. My take is it was the municipal dump on fire and it had nothing to do with RW. In fact, apparently the RW staff were out there helping the FD put it out. Supposedly it was a controlled burn that got out of control. Comments were that it was windy and shouldn't have been lit in the first place.

It was not a municipal dump, it is Resort World's trash heap that they frequently burn. The official dump is on S Bimini. All officially disposed of trash in N Bimini is stored on a barge until transferred to S Bimini.

As well as the flies at Big Game Club and Big Johns when the trash barge is filling up.

When busy RW produces more trash than the rest of the islands combined.

I can solve that issue for about 6 grand install and 800 a year annual service for bimini sands. Maybe I should contact mr Murray.

Make sure you get paid upfront. They still have not paid for the infinity pool.
