That is one intense fire. Glad that happened in dry dock and not on the ocean with people on board.
 
Those types of fires have got to be horrible. The fumes, and the chemicals on fire have got to be very difficult to fight. That's horrible...
 
Boat fires are the worst! Burning fiberglass, wood, and gasoline all burn very well together and create a very thick black smoke. The smoke could be seen from nearly a 100 miles away. We had to deal with the aftermath, mainly insurance because there was nothing left, with our marina dock fire. Took ours and all of our friends boats/yachts in one day in July. There's really nothing you can do except keep it from spreading to other boats and structures once it's really burning. All the boats burned to the waterline and sank except one. They were all in the 35-45 foot range with a couple ski boats and jetskis thrown in.
