It's been over a year since we took the Yami out  We had a blast and can't wait until the next outing. Our boy is almost three and is finally excited about boating!! On the downside, I need to replace the bearings in the cones ASAP .... Getting very noisy. Here are some pics of the fun in the sun and the beautiful blue Naples water!

I can't wait for it to warm up here. Very jealous!

Nice! Spent the day in the yard today....finally beginning to warm up here!

Awesome pics. Looks like you had a great outing.

Murf, great shots. I just realized my in laws have a summer home in Naples. Now I know why, it's a paradise!

Take lots of photos, the time goes by so quickly. Next thing you know he'll be working on his Master's and won't have much time to chat. Ask me how I know:cool:

Great pictures! and Dan, you are going to LOVE Hawaii! We went to Kauii for the first time to see relatives and it was awesome.

Dan, two words...para sailing. ( actually might be one word, but hey) If you've ever done it before, doing it over Waikiki is amazing. If you haven't, well then DO IT! And tandem is even better....

I can say that the most perfect thing about Hawaii is the perfect weather! Enjoy the trip, take pics, and go to Egg's N Things for breakfast! A jog to the top of diamond head is a feature too. You might want to look up Kevin over there...his YJB handle was Captnknev I think. Something like that...he has a 240 there. Anyone have his email?

In my pics you can see the guy flying that giant fan strapped to his back or whatever you wanna call it. I call it suicide!! It was neat watching him float around and land on the beach. Would any of you guys try that??

@Murf'n'surf I think flying a well built and maintained ultralight might be fun. Those motorized chutes are pretty safe I hear, but it takes a great deal of prep and care to launch and recover. I am sure it is a learned skill too and not a rental type flying. I see one of them frequently when we are in Hana. They have some tours out of the Hana airport in a powered sail plane and in an ultralight if I am not mistaken...and they may even do a two man tour in that contraption. With the winds in the islands, and the mountains and gorges, I think flying around in a kite anywhere close to the downwind side of the mountains is a little dangerous, but out over the surf in steady trades or even Kona winds, within limitations it is probably pretty safe. Not sure I would try that one however.

Super jealous! ! Great pics.
