Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
Per my understanding, Flagler does not have direct ocean access per se. You either have to take the Inter Costal or as the locals call it, “the River” North or South. To the N it looks to be Matanzas Inlet. To the S, it’s Ponce Inle
Ponce Inlet has lots of nice sandbars for anchoring and hanging out. Not a fisherman, so I don’t have any personal recommendations there. Have a friend who fishes in the Tomoka Marsh. I believe for red fish. (Ormond area, South of Flagler).
Florida does require a fishing license, so check into that.
One of the cool things about Flagler Beach, is that parts of A1A run adjacent to the beach, so you are driving 50yrs or so from the ocean. Whereas most of Florida has private land between A1A and the beach, so you are unable to easily see the ocean.
Thank you for the information . My Daughters lived at Flagler Beach for a year. Went for a visit and wished I had a boat to ride the intercostal waters and now I do. ?
