Some of the mats on my 2016 242 LS are coming off... any recommendations on how to fix it without buying new ones?

Thanks,

The two most aft mats literally came off in one piece last season. My boat is vintage 2016 as well. Stored in a closed garage in winter and placed under covered wet slip for the spring / summer months. Initially, I thought the same, just re-glueing. However, upon closer inspection, the mats that had separated were brittle compared to the rest of the boat mats.
Did you re-use mats? Or decide which fix to resolve issue?
I spent nearly 6 hrs just removing the factory adhesive and roughly $45.00 on acetone, rags, nylon brushes, plastic sheets, and painters tape.
My only thought is any adhesive used in order to re-attach mats and if it does not last but for a few years would be a lot of labor for minimal return of investment. Hope you find a reasonable solution.
