I have just moved to Florida from Kentucky. While registering the boat and trailer I was asked for the official weight of the trailer. I didn't receive paperwork, that I know, about the official dry weight of the galvanized trailer. Besides launching the boat and finding a certified scale is there somewhere that I can get the weight? Thanks

My local tax collectors office had a chart they used after we asked enough stating avg weight of trailers. They reluctantly agreed to the paper they had or else we would of had to do the certified scale. Trailer is under 2000 pounds and does not need title though. But I couldn't find documentation anywhere to prove it.

Not helpful but maybe they could have the same paper and file with that?

When you purchased the boat there should have been certificates of origin for the boat and trailer. The weight would be listed on there.

When I registered mine in FL I just told them it weighed 800lbs, total guess but they took it.

Thanks for the replies. No luck on the sticker. I guess I'll be digging through boxes in the morning.

Yamaha customer service or your dealer could have the answer. If you call your dealer, ask for the title clerk.

As per Yamaha's own specs your trailer weighs approx 1350lbs.

(Dry weight of boat and trailer 5010lbs) - (weight of boat 3660lbs) = 1350lbs

What's the weight?
