Flying the friendly skies in FL..Miliatry Drone Style

Good footage. Its actually no big deal and we have been doing this for years. In the F-16, we routinely used moving vehicles or fixed structures for simulated ordnance employment. From what I gather from the video, there wasn't even any simulated employment, just sensor use. Interesting, but really a non-event.

Yeah I agree I thought it was pretty cool to see and just wanted to share. Had a great uncle that was a gunner in WWII on a B17 and would love to see his reaction to this. He was a tough ole cuss. I can only imagine what the guys in our skies do.. lol Love it when the c130's buzz our house from just down the road at BRAC....

Apparently these exercises were done here where I live. We have Eglin Air Force Base here, so makes sense. But the coordinates on the screen mapped here as well when I plugged them into Google. Anyway, I think it's cool and don't have one bit of a problem with it. Actually, I was looking for my boat in the video. [flag]

Yea, this is nothing new.....we used traffic, trains, boats, all kinds of things to practice target tracking with Apache Helicopters! Some liberal fool will try to make something ominous about it....just our guys practicing what they do so that if they have to do it for real.....they can!
