Anyone else have an issue with the bump stops on their folding window coming off? Im referring to the bump stops when the window is open and it rides on the passenger side window. The screws arent long enough. From what I can tell, they only screw into the window frame with about one thread of the screw?! Come on Yamaha! Ill have to fix this myself with a longer screw....I may drill all the way through and use a countersunk allen head bolt on the underside to keep it cleaner but more permanent.

Just wondering if anyone else is having any other issues with something cheap and possibly "overlooked by Yamaha"?

When i took delivery of my boat only one of my bump stops was on the window. I didn't notice it until I got home and went over the boat real good. I found the other bump stop in the ski locker and for a while I thought it was intended to be in there in the water runoff channel as a buffer for the ski locker door lol. It wasn't until I washed my boat and really went over it did I noticed the same bump stop was attached to the window. No wonder my window like to flex when crossing wakes or in chop lol. Installed the stop and I've kept on an eye on it since and so far (knock on wood) it's stayed in there. But I agree the screw should be a little longer and I wouldn't mind a larger washer too since it can pull out the bottom if under a lot of stress.
