Its kind of amazing how the internet and boating forums can create friends and bring all kinds of people together with a common interest. I wish I could make it to all of the boating events and get to know you all, but here is a little glimpse into one event that many of us enjoy meeting at every year!

Great videos!

Shelbyville really is the best event if you can't make it to Bimini!

All kidding (competition) aside Shelbyville is an amazing time. The comaradary is amazing. You will make lifetime friendships. The organization is impressive. The door prizes are flowing. I believe everyone walked away with something from the sponsored dinner. Last year was our first Shelbyville and the kids keep asking to go back. Just imagine 40 Yamahas rafted up in two lines with swim decks facing each other leaving a large playground in the middle full of kids young and old enjoying the water. And did I mention the Jell-O shots?

I can't wait for the 2015 video!

Awesome videos! KK was so small that first year!!!! She's now taller than Moira!

Very Cool!

We will have to do that one year.. it's 12 hour drive without the boat! It would be fun though.

We can make a road trip together out of it! Assuming my companies annual user conference doesnt get in the way like it is this year...I hope to go out there next year!

@bronze_10 , It would be wonderful having you. You and @Julian can caravan up. Also, @bobbie came from Portland last year and is coming again this year. She was suppose to drive the boat out this year, but I think she is chickening out. lol.

We should get Yamaha Marketing out there and line up all the boats by year from one end of the raft up to the other! Then get a drone shot from one end to the other! Not sure we'd have all the years covered though....

It would be an adventure with three kids for 12 hours pulling a boat.. lol

We stopped at Mammoth cave on the way there in 2014 to break up the trip.....plus we can put the kids together....they might whine 10% less that way! LOL

Last year was our first time at this event and what a wonderful time it was. Everyone that we met was amazingly kind and generous. We were even able to start some new friendships that carried on to more adventures later in the summer. I absolutely can't wait for this years event, and the chance to reconnect with everyone we met last year. Plus also start some new friendships. I love this forum! :D

@bobbie - You didn't take my bait. I am trying to get you to haul your craft out here when you come. Since your boat defies all logic by allowing straight line surfing without any augmentation, I am sure everyone will want to see and experience it. Do I have to Triple Dog Dare you? No one can turn down a triple dog dare...............

@OperationROL Does that mean you're volunteering to be the co-pilot on the 30 HOUR(!!!) drive?? My co-pilots have bladders the size of thimbles. I shudder how many bathroom breaks I would have to make!

@Julian @OperationROL But to make up for it...I will try to purchase my drone before the trip and bring it!

@OperationROL . Straight line surfing proof ...no need to drive to drive 30 hours!

wow! that background scenery, and trees! What a view. And the water looks clean! Great shot!

Lots of memories there, 007. I am looking forward to having lots of new faces in the pictures this year. As we grow we are all going to have to make a conscience effort to make sure everyone is involved in the fun.
(I kinda miss the sub moves)
