Found this in the exhaust...odd

So moved the boat and was looking it over again. Found this thing hanging out of the exhaust. Looks to be silicone sealant of some sort. Just worried that it might let water in the hull.20170418_201848.jpg
 
I think we have all found some pieces like that come out of the exhaust when still kinda new. I know I did and some others as well.
 
It's just excess sealant. I had it hanging out of the exhaust second or third time my boat was on the water. No worries, pull it off.
 
Yep this is normal. Most of us have found this. It freaked me out last April when I was cleaning down there and pulled a piece off that looked almost exactly like this. No worries and enjoy that pretty beast this summer!
 
Yep, no worries. In medical terminology - this could be called hymen. Or something like that. ;)
