Hi , I am brand new here and to boat ownership as well. I have a 2022 AR250. I recently have taken it to the marina and my boat is in it's new home, in my wet slip. My question is, Friday and Saturday night the temp is going to drop below freezing. Will my boat be ok sitting there? I apologize in advance for all the stupid question that I may have coming at you guys.

Thanks,
Bobby

Your boat will be fine. The water will actually insulate it as its probably 50+ degrees at this point.

The weather was so nice last weekend and now back to freezing ?. We will be in the 90's before we know it

Yea, it happens every year. Middle of March we get some great spring weather for about a week or two. Trees and plants bloom, everyone runs to Lowe’s and Home Depot and then Bammm. We get hit with a heavy frost, freeze or ice storm. Then April starts to rolls around and the yellow fog of death (pollen) comes out for a few weeks.

What lake are you slipped in?

Congrats and welcome to the new boat! Lots to Ga boaters here, esp on north side. No stupid questions… We’ e all been there before and this is a great forum for info.

We have the boat at Glade Marina on Lake Allatoona. It looks like we will be able to get out there Sunday for some boating?

What lake are you in?

Nice! I think we have a few Yamaha guys on Allatoona…

I’m down on the south side and do day trips to West Point lake and vacation on Lake Martin in AL. That’s my Favorite lake and hope to retire there one day.

Welcome to the forum. And make sure to post pix if u make it out Sunday.. jealous ?

I had mine wet slipped at Harbor Town for 4 years. I never had a problem.

I’m at Glade. Love it there. Going on second year. I do dry storage. Didn’t remove the shipping cover yet. I’ll start prepping this week.

We are gonna head over there today to take the whip out for a bit! I’m on G dock.

Another Glade member here, kicking off our 12th season. The new courtesy dock for us dry slip folks is looking good.?
