Front seat storage

I have seen similar posts but none that directly noted a 24 footer.

I want to attach brackets to the outside wall under the front seats. This will require screws. Does anyone know how much space, if any, is between the carpeted wall and the outer hull??

I think the carpet is glued to the hull itself up there.

And it flexes. I hung a dock hook in the ski locker, try there.

Thanks @AZMark and @Dough. I was pretty certain of that as I was trying to have 1 hand knocking in the compartment as I dangled over the edge trying to feel.. I looked ridiculous.

Gonna look at other options, like the ski locker..
