Fuel leaking into water though exhaust side - AT HELP

It seems that fuel is leaking into the water through what I believe to be the exhaust on my 06 ar230 ho. Strong smell. Took apart the plugs and coils and swapped them from one engine to another and found the same problem. a nice slick on the starboard engine. has anyone come across this? going to do a compression test in the morning. Really hope that it's not a bad cylinder.

Might be bad ecu
 
Do you have a YDS? You can do the injector tests to confirm the injector clicks as expected.

I don’t have one. Anyone here in the south jersey area that I can borrow? And what do you mean by clicking?
 
When the ECU fails, it sends constant 12v to the injector. The yds allows a test mode that pulses the injector. If you try it and it doesn't pulse when you run the test, you know the injector is likely the problem. As it is now it's 95% that's the problem based on other reports of your same symptoms.

It tends to happen because the ecu got water in it... You can try swapping ecu side to side to confirm also without yds, but that's more work. You could also pull the air cover and check voltage at the injectors.

Be careful because it's probably dumping fuel on the engine at the rate the injector can give it. Wait too long and the cylinder will fill up with fuel.

So in other words pull the wires off of the coils and check to see if it pulsates voltage? Of it is constant 12v then bad ecu correct? And in regards to filling the cylinder will that cause permanent damage?
 
Filling a cylinder with any liquid (non compressible) isn’t good and can hydrolock (bend or break things) if turning the engine over. @Beachbummer and @bronze_10 know their stuff and have you on the right track for troubleshooting.
 
Not the coils but the injectors are the voltage to check. I would suggest don't crank the engine until you figure this out. If you have to, take the spark plugs out first and crank so If the cylinder is full of fuel it will empty and relieve the engine pressure from all the fuel that was dumped on the cylinder at the wrong time. Whenever you crank with no spark plugs keep the lanyard off to kill the spark.
 
Just in case, two different wire paths: Injectors give fuel, spark plugs give spark. Fuel injectors are under the black air filter cover on the fuel rail.
