Looks like a great option!

I have an IP600G with a remote on the swim deck and am very happy with it. Fusion builds very high quality marine gear.

A hidden IP600 and a remote would be less expensive than this kit. But the IP600 remote is round and I believe you need to fill a square space on your dash.

I agree that it is the same system. My guess is that Garmin is rebadging Fusion's system.

I have a Fusion IP700 system in a 2006 AR230 which has the HU in the passenger glovebox and one remote in the helm and a second remote on the swimdeck. I have the rectangular Fusion remotes. It works very well and I have full control and display at all remotes. The HU might as well be a "BlackBox" since its hidden in the glovebox.

I agree.

Here is a picture of the Fusion NRX200 remote in place of my factory rectangular remote

You lose 20 watts per channel by using the black box vs the IP700.

Also looks like you lose a zone. Black Box has 3 zones IP700 has 4. It may not matter to most people but I happen to use all 4 zones. :p

With that said, I like the "BlackBox" concept and I love the Fusion product line. If I was going to do it all over today, I would probably go with this new BB system and two remotes (and get by with *just* 3 zones  )
