I just purchased this head unit and also the MS-NRX300 remote.

As I open the boxes to begin my project, I don’t think these are compatible. The cables look different then the head unit.
I’m guessing it’s because of NMEA2000.
I’m not set up for that or interested, looking for a good Bluetooth headunit and wired remote.

Any suggestions on what remote goes with this?

I could just buy the nmea 2k cable and run to the remote control.. That's what I did

I have an extra nmea 2k cable I got with a replacement MS-NRX300. New in bag with the T's and caps. PM me if interested.

THanks, I found a cable and tee.
I’ve installed numerous car stereos over the years but this was different.
Not hard but different, and each time I needed something I couldn’t run down to Best Buy or any local car audio shop and buy a NMEA 2000 cable or tee!!!

Finally got everything installed and working,
Now I can finish enjoying my week at the lake

You can control volume/tracks with the watch with any radio over BT. I turn my volume to 0 on my phone, then put the radio to the highest level my gains are set to, then adjust volume for rest of the day from watch.
