Anyone have a sturdy hook onboard? I bought an aluminum one with a plastic hook and the hook already got broke.

I haven't broken mine yet. Mine seems beefy and it's 3 sections total so it's pretty small when fully colapsed, and fits in the storage compartment.

Just be sure you arent using the hook to pull the weight of your boat around. The hooks usually aren't designed for that, but rather for attaching a line to a dock cleat so you can then use the lines to pull. I will use the hook to gently pull or hold position but no more than that.

Ha! I guess we need to define what type of hook he is in need of. I assumed a gaff hook as in stabbing fish before your dinner swims away.
