EDIT: Found my answer: "From my conversations with Gantlin they will work fine with Thrust Vector XL or XV on newer model 21 footers (2012-2018). They do not work with 2006-2011 models. "

Thrust Vector XV / Lateral Thruster Combo (Twin Engine) × 1 is what I purchased. Damn.

Well this was a fun constant flow of my thought process in this post....hah

I've said it before in other threads but I'll say it again here for anyone who may be considering what surf device to buy.

The combination of the wedge with the ballast bag are unbeatable on my AR240. I've been able to surf every board I've had in my inventory effortlessly. From the cheapest (O'Brien pike) up... it didn't matter... I could drop the rope, surf, and play around. It's a real surf wave. It's no longer a matter of "what board will work?" It's a simple matter of, "what board do I want to ride today?" It's a wave to be proud of and I love it!
