Search function didn't find anything - but wanted to know if anyone had experience with one of these? I like the flexibility of being able to have it out when parked and stowed later if need be. Also like that you can put a standard kitchen garbage bag inside to keep all the nastiness contained. Thoughts? Unfortunately with our current setup a hard garbage can on the insides of the help or dry storage doors isn't possible.

I need a better trash bag system, this looks promising, while at anchor you could hang it somewhere in the cabin and underway your could hang it in the closet,

That's what I'm thinking!

I do that just with a regular kitchen trash bag now. I have a piece of velcro on the windshield post above the head compartment door. I loop that around the draw string from the bag and let it hang. When we are going to get underway, I just swing it into the head compartment. The drawstring is thin enough the door closes with no problem. When we stop again, I just swing it out...

Thanks for the link. I will try this and I hope to use a bag inside to keep it cleaner.

Based on reviews it sounds like the cord attachments could use some extra stitching to keep them from ripping.

Any updates from those who purchased the Boat Trix trash bag? I am considering purchasing one as well.

Just do what @tdonoughue posted

If you want it outside the boat at the beach just velcro it to a handle or cleat

You might find this one very helpful too

I use this. Works pretty good.

I bought one. You can have mine. Ha! It doesn’t make any sense. It’s got a mesh liner so anything wet that goes in there comes right back out. Also, it’s a pita to get the trash back out.
