Im posting to help out other people.

I was looking for a solution to holding garbage in my 2014 Yamaha AR192. I bought the simplehuman 10l trash Can that screws in the back of kitchen cabinet doors or hangs on it. $30. The included screws are perfect length and won’t penetrate through the other side. When installing, you need to be careful with the trash Can placement. It needs to be lower left of the door or the door won’t close.

Nice install! I like the idea of it offset to the left.

You you still like it there? No issues with it being in the way of people walking forward and aft?

We usually just tie a plastic bag to the windshield support above. Swing the bag into the compartment while running, then open the compartment and let it hang on the outside while floating. Not as elegant as your solution, but very functional.

I took the hinged cover off because it was hitting the helm door opening. Otherwise it’s great to keep all the empty cans and beer contained. I keep extra bags at the bottom of the Can and change it every time.
