gas filter

What if I told you we don't have such a thing? There is a screen in the fuel pump, but I wouldn't call it a filter.

Why do you ask?

my starboard engine tach goes up and down as dose the engine like it is a gas issue but then may run fine for awhile that starts again. That's amazing on the gas filter--any idea on the other would be appreciated. thanks

Maybe a cylinder is dropping. Have you tried changing spark plugs yet?

how much gas have you gone through lately? is this old gas from over the winter? how long has the fluctuating rpm's been happening?

i have gone through 1/2 tank this summer and was going to fill-up next outing---i will put in new plugs this week--thanks
