You don't have yours? I can check once I pick up my boat this Friday. Scarab has a parts catalog, but it's unclear what gas spring is used where. Select Your Brand

Hey Luc. Thanks for the quick reply. I remember on my Seadoo, an aftermarket strut meant for an Infiniti or Nissan was the perfect fit, and way cheaper than OEM on a non-critical part.

I do have mine, it's just getting tired. I guess I can measure the extended length and subtract the extend bit to find the compressed length and go from there. I just thought if someone had the answer off hand. I'll report if I find a solution. Cheers!

Let me rephrase, yours will have a part number sticker on it. That number usually allows us to figure out the part details such as length/strength. I did exactly that for the engine hatch a while back and bought a replacement that wasn't the OEM one and was available on Amazon Canada.

Check to see what sticker is on there.
