Gauge size

Help, boat still in storage ordering parts. What size guage is this? I now have a good depth finder installed and don't need this guage. I want to fill it with a blank panel to than run a volume knob through blank panel to control the waketower amp volume. Something like this.

I replaced the crummy stock depth gauge with this voltmeter. It lets me keep tabs on the batteries while we are floating to the music and also helps me monitor magneto output when running: Black 7 Color Volt Gauge

The actual gauge diameter is 2 1/16" and it fit right in. The blanking plate you are looking at should definitely fit; but I am not sure how secure it will be if you add a knob to it that you manipulate regularly since it is just meant to plug and has no back clamp. You would have to bond it in or possibly try to use/modify the clamp from the depth gauge.
