Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
Hmmm... I don't think I have seen an instance of someone putting new gauges on one of our boats. I have seen some remove one of the gauges to put in a Perfect Pass, though.
Do your gauges run on a bus system? I know that mine do, so when you disconnect them you need to terminate the line correctly or many things on the boat stop working (e.g. other tach and its link to the engines).
I replaced all the gauges in my LX210 with Teleflex parts. With Scott's boat being of a similar vintage I suspect the his gauges are falling apart as mine were. I am guessing that gauges from a newer MR1 powered boat would be his best option.
