Taking the day off and going to the lake solo tomorrow. None of my pansie friends want to take a day of vacation or call in sick, the wife is busy, and kids are in school. Not many boating days left this season, so I plan to have at least one more peaceful fun day before it's over. Any of you in the area want to meet up and anchor down at the lake?

Gotta work! But we do hope to get out on Percy Priest this weekend to get the break-in period knocked out and some tubing for the kids...

My houseboat was at Four Corners Marina on Percy Priest Lake. I'm very familiar with that lake. It has a bad reputation, but I never had any incidents or lost anchors in 6 years. We still go there whenever we're short on time as it's the closest lake to our house. Elm Hill Marina has the best food.

Yea I agree; we are 5 miles from Long Hunter State Park. Love the food over at the marina that restaurant has the best burgers! We plan to be out there for most of the afternoon Sunday completing the engine break in and tubing.
