After a lot of looking and reading and help from this forum I'm finally going to pull the trigger on a 2012 242 limited s with a couple of extras... So excited and it goes in my garage with an inch to spare on each side ?. Now to discussing mods!

Congratulations !

Congrats! I've got a 2014 242LS and Love it... Good choice.

Welcome aboard @Jayme

Congrats!!!!
Mods?
My favorite mod, Bilge Float switch alarm and extra bilge pump for peace of mind. cheap and useful.

Break Out Another Thousand

Congrats.
An inch to spare...a hitch reciever on your front bumper might be a good place to start.
Hydrophase is number 2.

Five recommendations based on experience.. 1) Learn how the clean out port covers can blow, even if set properly, which can bring water into the engine compartment. Invest in EZ Locks so they can't blow. 2) Always have the bilge switch on, 3) Invest in Thrust Vectors. These make a huge difference when docking and trailering, 4) Learn how to blow out debris in the impellers while in the water rather than stopping to get stuff out all the time and 5) Know when to use the tower or the ski hook when pulling people.
