Google Street View

Looks like the street view car came by my house recently.... I must have been inside preparing to mow my lawn.

Looking at the Streetview shot of my house....they've not been past mine in the last 5 years. I like the stone facade.

I've taken several complaints from idiots looking at this and seeing a car in their driveway they don't recognize and believe their house is being burglarized in real time. It's so hard to explain that google doesn't provide them with their personal satellite.

I had my boat for just 5 days when they took this street view picture. It's the only time it has sat outside for more than a day at my house. Edit: I just noticed they fuzzed something out at the back of my boat. I'm not sure if that is a person or one of my kids perhaps. I can't think of anything else worth fuzzing out back there.

your trucks plate is fuzzed out too..maybe the software assumed that was a plate at the back end of the boat trailer....like "facial recognition" for vehicles.
@RobA now you got me burning up the rest of my day......I need to paint a big middle finger on the docks roof !.......you can see where we've cleared out the hydrilla around the dock too..

Thats cool! You cant see it in the screen shot I took, but it was also my trash day (Thursday) and the Google actually tells you when the picture was uploaded. Mine said Sept 2013.

@jetboater4life thats lucky they caught you with the boat in the driveway! I would save that for future memories.

RE an HOA.... I am lucky enough to not have one in my neighborhood. It has actually worked out well.... who knew people can self manage themselves. I have a GREAT relationship with all of my neighbors. My buddy across the street has a 24ft Bayliner Ciera next to his house.

Yes it was very cool! I just looked at a couple other angles and it turns out they fuzzed out my pressure washer that was sitting there. The angle from the other side did not have it fuzzed out. Anybody on here know how their algorithm works? I'm sure it's not a bunch of kids in a cramped warehouse editing photos by hand

never had an issue with my HOA.....didn't even know what one was when I moved here...but the concept of living with rules (beyond common sense) I couldn't grasp........I had a harder time adjusting to a lot with no trees........live free or die !

I have NO idea, but whatever it is... its a damn good algorithm. I mean I have yet to find a license plate number or face on there.

Hell yeah!! (So says my CCP) I had two trees, but one of them fell over... now I only have one hahaha I'm on top of a giant hill so I have a great vantage point to defend my court.
