So, I took the day off today to take care of some things, including summerizing the boat. I did not get to all the things I wanted to do, but I did get her out on the water and made sure she is running correctly. Turns out that I was really low on oil, which made the warning lights come on, but I had some oil on board and also borrowed some from @Nathan Bryant who accompanied me in his Red AR240. Nathan's boat ran perfectly!

That's a great looking boat.

Awesome. Congrats on a great first outing of 2014.

Poor Julian might not get out on the water for shake downs prior to the race..Op ROL is already ticking out warm up laps..what are the odd in Vegas on this?..

The only one that wasn't cold was Jackson on @OperationROL boat. Now we're ready for the Chicago loop cruise next weekend. Running great and got her up to 53 on the GPS.

Eh, he's going down river is all, lol

Today, we got a few more items done. My wife surgically cleaned the inside. It is spotless. I got on the creaper and cleaned the underside. Then we cleaned and waxed the entire thing, including the trailer. I also finally changed the navigaion light up front and re-routed the wire for the perfect pass GPS. A complete day, but it was well worth it!

That is true. the 51.x's that I was posting were all down river. Up river I only posted 47. I am assuming the current was right around 2.5 mph.

Looks great! I think your in hull docking lights need covers to make it more streamline for the grudge match.

They may be removed and holes glassed in by then.

I got out today with a full boat for several hours! Too many kids swarming and I forgot to take a bunch of pix. But I did find out you can get quite a nice sunburn in Texas in 3 hours or so in April... The lady performed flawlessly. Kids tubed but a little cool for the swimming yet.

@OperationROL Woot! Welcome to the 2014 boating season!

There is nothing like the first time out....have a great season!
