Not the bilge pump or something rattling. Don't hear is with the motors off but then the tachs are not working either. I've been trying to think of what to compare the noise to and the closest I can think of is the sound one of those small wind-up toys

@MrMoose my port throttle drops a little too and hits its stop about 1/8"-1/4" before the starboard. No vibration though. Plus, as I think I mentioned, my port engine rpms drop slowly from about 5000 on, ultimately settling about 500-600 rpms lower than the starboard at WOT (7600 port vs. 8200 starboard) with the throttle lever together that is. Now, whether my port engine is dropping off at high rpm, my port tach is funky, my cables/throttles need adjustment all remains to be seen. Bottom line is, the boat is going into the shop in spring for a good going over. My fuel gauge finally crapped out, so that needs to be addressed as well. I'll have them do all of the adjustments, plugs, oil changes, lubrication, and fix the fuel sender. One thing I will do next week is swap the tach wires and see what happens. That's a great idea
