Has anyone installed a chartplotter on the 12" connext dash?

As title says. I've been using my phone with navionics but yesterday it overheated, so now trying to go legit!

thanks! How are the maps on that one? The App has amazing maps

Poor. In fact, you can't install any. All you can do is chart where you have been. You are supposed to be able to install from other users and share yours to other users, but that is spotty at best. I got it as a gift. I would have bought one onto which you could put maps...

(oh but the sonar on this thing is really sweet, as is the recording on the maps--I like that...)

Purchased a used 2019 AR 240 that the owner had a Raymarine Axiom 7 installed. Came with the Navionics + chip... Unfortunately he had the unit installed but chose to not insIall the tranducer…. I love the charts and the availability to plot a course, or mark waypoints for a course of my own... Unit fits very nicely in the dash... I will try and take a photo of the installation to post... I am also on Lake Lanier...
