New boat is home and it is pretty amazing. After spending the day setting it up we'll be heading to the lake today for on water break in and set up.

I got everything installed and as I was installing my Dometic toilet mount, I noticed the shelf cut-out in the head compartment, I'm sure there is a solid reason for this, I just could not think of why. Thoughts?

It's the slot for the table mount even though it doesn't really fit all that well.

That's what my first guess was, but after 20 minutes of trying to figure out how the table would fit in there... It doesn't, so I thought there would be a more logical reason.

Is it supposed to be for the table mount or the table itself?
