I have a 2013 SX240 with a Clarion headunit shown in the picture. Doesn't have BT or Sirius(ready only) so I was thinking about upgrading to a headunit that has more function and easier to use.

Is there a direct replacement option for this headunit? seems like a 1.5din size... and USB/AUX cable on the back seems to be a proprietary cable... Would like to use the swim platform remote but I am not oppose to replacing that either.

Thanks for the advices. Will research them!

The Clarion CMD8 has a 1.8DIN opening. You will need an adapter plate of some sort if you go with a 1DIN or smaller unit.

If you want a bit more economical solution ... Keep that Clarion CMD7, your AUX port, and your swim deck remote and do the following:
  1. Buy this Bluetooth adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RJKRYVC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ($18.99)
  2. Download the Sirius XM app on your phone and stream through the phone (if you're able to get service)
Works great for me ...
