I'm in the process of running wire for a lot of different lights in our 212x, including transom lights for underwater lighting and lighted cupholders on the swim deck. Question, is anything in the bilge area creating enough heat to melt the insulation on wiring? I'm doing everything I can to tie the wiring up, we are mounting sticky backs with 5200 all over the inside of that area, so the wiring will be cleaned up nicely, but if there is any incidental contact, does anything back there carry enough heat to melt the wiring?
