Hi Everyone, just joined the forum as a new owner of a 2008 Yamaha 232 Limited. Loving the boat so far!

My parents owned it for the last 3 years but it didn't leave the driveway for around 16 months so decided to buy it from them.

Have been digging into all the information on this site and see all the great people that respond to almost all the threads so excited to learn more and to help where I can.

Looking to do A LOT of cleaning, install a battery charger, modify a new cover for a tower, and just some general maintenance! Thanks everyone!

Welcome and congrats on the boat!:Welcome:

glad to have you on board, update your profile with your location so we know where you're at,

check out the link in my signature below for common issues with your type of boat,
Especially be careful removing the #3 spark plug and strongly consider replacing your scupper valve,

Welcome aboard and congratulations on the purchase!

I am a bit biased, but your 2008 23' with the MR-1 HO engines is my favorite class of Yamaha jetboats. Soak all the info in, there is a wealth of captured knowledge on those boats here. Of course, if you can't find the answer using search, through the FAQs, or just poking around, many here will be happy to help you out. Good luck and safe boating!

Thanks everyone!

@Scottintexas yep I will update my profile a bit and looking to do the scupper this fall!

@GTBRMC yes have been reading so much and am very impressed with this forum! A part of many other forums for things I own and this one is managed very well and a lot of great responses!

Pictures welcome! Enjoy the new acquisition!!!
