Hello from Chile

Hello, new AR190 2015 Owner waiting for delivery from Miami to Chile should be here march... I can't wait!! i'm coming from a Glastron 175SX with the 3.0 TKS engine. View attachment 194688View attachment 194689
Any details on the boat like hours, mods, service records. That’s a heck of a delivery from the US to Chile. No market there on these boats?

I don't have info on service records, the company who make the export to Chile test the boat, take pictures, videos, etc for me to see the boat, it has 279 hours, thrust vector, lots of speakers, I saw a few riva stickers, so I hope it has L13. I bought a few items with the boat, mooring cover, a garmin striker, oil change kit with pump and a monster wakeboard rack. Take 20 days since the container leaves Miami to San Antonio, Chile, and the boat is on his side all the way to Chile (picture attached).

Yamaha in Chile only brings PWCs, boats are mainly I/O boats, Sea Ray, Bayliners, etc. and jets are mainly direct imports as mine.

The loading moment.... nerves!!!

good luck im sure you're excited to get your boat!

Congratulations. I was overly excited when they told me mine came in after having it ordered for 6 months. Excuse my ignorance, but send some pics and keep us posted, I don’t know anything about Chile.

Aloha. The pic of your baby laid on it side in the container gave me chills. It's actually tied down on the trailer and on its side. I can only assume the fluids (oil and fuel) are emptied. The shipper must know what they're doing though. When mine came to HI from CA I was all over the shipper to make sure it was safe and secure. It made it just fine and I'm sure yours will too. You are going to have a blast with it! Good Luck!

Thanks HawaiiBreeze for your comments, They works only in boats, so they are experts and have tons of experience, I learned a lot from them, took everything out liquids and loose accessories, disassemble the tower, batteries are on secured attachment fixed to the container, etc.

I follow your channel on youtube, good videos and very useful howtos!! I will use a few of them on the boat.

I thought the same thing about the fluids. What a mess and environmental disaster that could turn out to be.
Plus side, you know you will have fresh oil and fuel when you go out. ?

Congratulations and take lots of pictures to share with the group?

Welcome. We will definitely need to see pics/video of boating in Chile!

Congratulations! I saw an AR195 for sale here in Guatapé Colombia. Same story, they're difficult to find because it needs to be imported from USA. You will have a very unique boat there in Chile!

Make sure to post some photos of your time(s) on the water there in Chile!

Well, the boat will come out of customs clearance next week, in the mean time I got from amazon a few parts that were broke, and a Yamaha oil filter (just today I knew I can use the a Motorcraft filter that sells for ten bucks around here)

Lovely! That last picture of the snowy peak is wonderful.

I see a distinct lack of pisco in those pictures, lol.

I have to say that imported Yamaha will do just fine and yield even more pics! Keep them coming!
