I just picked up a 2014 242 LS and love it. Most importantly, the wife loves it also. After hitting a coral head with the lower unit of my ProLine, I am now a proud owner of a jet boat. With that said, I am trying to talk my wife and teens to make the Bimini trip. With my oldest heading off to college, that might be tight on the budget. Well, hello to everyone and I look forward to hearing all the wonderful times and watching those videos of others and their boats.

Welcome Aboard and very nice boat!

Budget permitting I am sure that your family would have a great time on the Bimini trip. You are closer than most of us to Fort Lauderdale so your towing costs are reduced. We heard from a member yesterday that Bimini Sands is filling up so it would be good to get your reservations in soon if your family agrees. The discounted rates for our group and the contact info are in the first post of this thread https://jetboaters.net/threads/bimini-2015-july-6th-to-11th.2647/

@Bruce Hilbert

:Welcome:

If you can swing it, I would do the Bimini trip this year.
With oldest heading off to college, the money won't get easier moving forward and getting the whole family together in one place for more than a day or two will definitely get harder.

Great boat you purchased... I predict many good times for you and yours!

@Bruce Hilbert glad to have you on board, I spent a week last year at the boy scout camp on Summerland Key, I even saw a couple of Yamaha's moored at Looe Key, you've have a lot of good boating close by, You should consider some clean out plug locks (cobra's or JBP's) and if you want additional steering control some fins.

Welcome from the Upper keys. We're in Tavernier.

Thanks everyone. Hope to see you out on the water. I seem to be hanging mostly at Snipes and Marvin Key.
