Hello from California - WaveRunner Owner who got the bug for a boat. Purchased a 2019 SX190 last week! A lot of great information on this forum.
Already considering a Ribbon Delete and possible Impeller upgrade. I am in high altitude. I needed a new impeller for my waverunner, made a drastic difference in launch, and overall top speed.

Check with a Yamaha dealer if read every boat gets one free high altitude prop switch. But being in Florida I've never needed it. Maybe someone can verify if this is more rumour than fact lol

I agree, it seems like we only heard about it with SLC/DEN dealers but it's worth pushing for, especially if you go in saying you're not satisfied with the performance, maybe do a search on here to try to figure out which dealers it was, call them to confirm and then go to your dealer and when they say "Yamaha doesn't do that" you'll have facts to back you up,

Welcome to the forum! Great place to be. Very knowledgeable people here to help keep you on the water.

Ribbon delete, SVHO intercooler w/dedicated pisser and a longer cone (L13 or WetWolf) will make the biggest differences. Can't comment on the impeller (never tried that). That's what helped my 192. You won't be disappointed. Good luck!!!
