Happy to see such an active and friendly forum. I went and looked at boats for the first time at the end of June this year. I got the bug after getting out on the water just a few days prior. I wasn’t sure if we wanted a tri-toon or a bow rider. After thinking about it a bow rider was the best fit. Looked at an SC 190 and was informed about the AR 195. Then made the mistake of looking at a 212 Limited S and realized I couldn’t get that one. Decided to go with the AR 195 but they had to get one shipped to them. I’m thinking no big deal. A week later I should be signing papers right? Nope.
Fast forward to today still waiting because of a terrible shipping company. Now it’s only a couple weeks away from the announcement of 2019 models. I just want to be boating already. Lost the whole month of July. Sorry for the rant/ long post. Something tells me that a few of you have been through this type of thing. No matter what one I go with I’ll be sure to post up some pics...

Congrats on the soon to be delivered new boat! Yes...the waiting is terrible! But in the meantime you can being working on the list of things you need to buy and the list of mods you want to do!!!! We LOVE helping other people spend their money!!! EVIL GRIN!

Congrats... once it arrives and many of us have had to wait for delivery... your gonna love it.. if you wait to see about 2019 you could be waiting till at least mid September.. if anything just color changes anyways.. good luck..

I did the same as you, started looking at a 19 then looked a last years new 212 SS and then looked at the 212 Limited S. I tell myself I "five thousand dollared myself to death" kinda like getting nickel and dimed....

I'd like twin engines, so go to SX210, oh a tower would be cool, AR210, oh, I want the bigger 1.8L engines, and speakers on the swim platform and a tower and and. Crap. I just went from $30k to $58k.

I love the 212 Limited S though, It has everything except ballast tanks which were way low priority to me, almost at a Zero.

You will love the new boat.

If the 19 works out for us we might just keep it that way. But that 212 limited s boat...Maybe someday.

Boat will be here tomorrow.

Oh yeah!!!! That’s great news.

You're gonna love that new AR195! It will surprise you in terms of its versatility, speed and ease of maintenance. Welcome aboard!

The demo was fun. About 1.5 hours on the water. A lot to absorb being a first time boat owner. These will be fun times to look back on.

I just bought my Yammie less than a month ago. I was like you, the 212 limited S, oh yeah, I just didn't have the will power to walk away from that boat! Was looking at the SX210, after seeing the 212, oh hell naw! Been wanting a boat for 15 years. My neighbor/grand maw gave me some advice. You work long and hard, GET WANT YOU WANT! I did stay within a budget though.

Congrats!! Have fun and be safe.

Congrats. I just got my AR195 just a few weeks before you. First looked at the black/gray in the showroom, liked that one but then tentatively made up my mind for the red after looking at the catalog. But by the time I made up my mind the red was gone so the decision was made -- I got the black/gray. No delay or shipping to wait for. Both look sharp in my opinion.
This is my second boat for which I'm glad. Hopefully I got most of the stupid things out of the way with the first one.

Thanks. I did get to look at the other color. Saw them both side by side. The black and gray is very nice looking. I was told I would be getting the red one. So for a month I looked at the red one in pictures/video. When they showed up they said I was getting the black and gray! Apparently there was a screw up with me and another customer. I ended up with the red and it’s really growing on me. Looks great on the water too.
