Mayden voyage of my 2021 SX210. I noticed right away that the port side engine was much lowder than the other and it had more vibration and less power. I went through the proper breakin and was hoping it would get better but didn’t. The rpm’s on the port side went up way quicker and were harder to keep consistent. At one point I saw the gauge drop all the way down and then power back up. What should I look at? I know I could bring it to the dealer but I don’t want to lose days on the water.

Did you check the clean out port?

Try quickly going full throttle forward then full throttle reverse. That usually works for clearing crap out

The other thought I had is can you get underneath the boat and look through the intake grill and see if you can see anything stuck in the impeller? Try taking a picture with your phone if that gives you a better angle.

Also be sure to check everywhere, the smallest piece of debris can cause cavitation. I had a twig not much bigger than a tooth pick cause cavitation.

Cavitation from a loose clean out plug or debris in the impeller. Be aware a loose clean out plug can sink you.
