All the veterans here... I'll be completely away form any mobile reception for 5 days starting Monday morning August 19th. Remote canoe trip in the Canadian wilderness (Dumoine river, Quebec for those curious).

If folks are posting questions and you feel you can help them out, please do so!

If anybody needs help, please make sure to post publicly and not send me a direct message since I won't be answering them. It's also more valuable to the community to post publicly. You get more expertise across the forum and everybody gets to learn from it. Contrary to popular belief, there are many other Scarab owners out there that know more than I do.

Have a great week!

Have a great time! We expect photos when you return!

Epicly quiet trip. Saw a single group of 3 canoes on the entire 5 day trip. It was ultra quiet. One rapid, a freaking black bear ended up crossing the river (while swimming) right in front of us! lol That was a first for me. Not sure how to rate a rapid with a black bear...(a young-ish one).

Very cold the first few days but it got better as the week progessed.

64km trip with a boat shuttle at the end to get us back to our car. Pretty easy going trip since we did want to enjoy the camping eperience too especially with my 9 year old.
