I don't have any fenders. Your comment about a prank did make me think. Had the guys at the marina float the boat. Maybe they sat it down when messing with the cover/ropes.
Could have easily fallen out of their pocket too. Maybe send them the picture, ask if they're missing anything. Looks like a quick disconnect for **something**
